About Al Case
A Baby Boomer, Al began writing and martial arts in 1967. He studied such arts as Chinese Kenpo Karate, Kang Duk Won Korean Karate, Kwon Bup American Karate, Wing Chun Kung Fu, Aikido, Ton Toi Northern Shaolin Kung Fu, Fut Ga Southern Shaolin Kung Fu, Pa Kua Chang, Tai Chi Chuan, weapons, and much more. He began writing for the Martial Arts magazines (Inside Kung Fu, Black Belt, etc.) in 1981, and had his own column in Inside Karate. He has written over 30 novels, many with martial arts themes. Currently he is a living at Monkeyland, a martial arts temple he is building on top of a mountain.
